Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

As we run down the clock towards the end of the year, we look back on a successful 12 months both in terms of sales and development.

We are proud to have played a part in supporting the Ukrainian military with Mesh radios and training from our Dublin offices, as well as delivering the concept of affordable IP Mesh technology to a number of European Ministries of Defence, something we had never envisioned at the outset of 2022.

Our partnership with Wearin’ Tech from Switzerland continues to produce great results, with success from the Catacombs underneath the streets of Paris to collapsed structures, and deep underground in the UAE with the UN Urban Heavy Lift SAR unit. The synergy between the PTT Mesh radio and the Wearin’ Tech sensor system is fantastic, proving our capability in cellular denied environments.

Our successes in Asia include delivery of major Surveillance and VIP Protection IP Mesh based solutions to Presidential Security Guards and Military Intelligence, as well as significant deliveries of our Cellular Surveillance and OSINT solutions in the region.

Our Investigations as a Service (INVaaS) has had a great introductory 12 months with contracts signed in the USA, Europe and the Middle East.

We established our European HQ in Dublin, providing logistical, training, integration and support services for the Northern hemisphere markets, and we established Sovereign Systems New Zealand to service the Antipodean region as well as the Pacific islands.

We have some exciting news to share in the New Year with the introduction of our indoor tracking solution, delivering highly accurate tracking over 3-axes, without the need for building maps or external beacon infrastructure. We believe this to be the first truly viable non-GPS tracking solution which, combined with the PTT Mesh network, helps to ensure the safety of the First Responder community.

Following the success of our exhibition at the Natural Disaster Expo in Singapore earlier this month, we will also be exhibiting at IDEX, Abu Dhabi in February and World Police Summit in Dubai in March.

Clip-On UAV IMSI Catcher

Traditional deployment of IMSI Catcher technology has been in vehicles, to allow for high power output, or in covert backpacks, for close quarter work, where vehicles are impractical, or would raise suspicion. IMSI Catchers have been deployed in aircraft for search & rescue and border patrol and, more recently, in UAVs or drones. As dedicated platforms, these are proprietary and tend to be expensive and quite large, not easy to deploy rapidly.

Mesh pop-up networks enabling anti-Human Trafficking operations

A team of ex-Special Forces operatives, going under the name of Samurai, has focused their skills on the fight against human trafficking. Samurai operates in some very dangerous locations, including conflict zones in the Caribbean, Asia and Eastern Europe. Communications is a constant challenge in these environments, with access to cellular networks being very patchy and SATCOM being impractical.
