mMesh Technology, ip mesh radios, or mesh network (or simply meshnet) is a local network topology in which the infrastructure nodes (i.e. bridges, switches, and other infrastructure devices) connect directly, dynamically and non-hierarchically to as many other nodes as possible and cooperate with one another to efficiently route data from/to clients.

While we have been traveling with relative ease in Europe, Asia and the Gulf region for the last 6 months, this is my first visit to Australia in over two years. I have enjoyed catching up with business partners in Brisbane and Sydney, especially the Hypha World team, who are pushing the boundaries in the world of First Responder Critical communications, with the Hypha CAP and the newly released MAP and REX Kits.

We recently participated at trials in the UK with the Ministry of Defence, and Italy, with the Italian Special Forces. Our SovSys IP Mesh radios provided connectivity for the C4i Systems mobile command centre, allowing rapid deployment and ease of set up. Live video streams and integration of the system components was achieved with the AD HOC MANET pop-up network, without deploying any infrastructure or cable systems. The integral Wi Fi access point on each SovSys Mesh radio allows WiFi cameras to connect to the Mesh network at LOS distances up to 90 metres from the radio.

HyphaMESH extends critical connectivity miles into difficult wildland terrain where cellular and radio signals are not reliable, including: California’s Santa Monica Mountains, Yerba Buena and Sepulveda Canyons, California’s Mount Baldy Village, Icehouse Canyon Trailhead, and California’s Angeles National Forest.

Introduction to hyphaMesh

HyphaMESH solutions offer an IP transparent network, based on the COFDM waveform, that can operate independently or integrate back to a central core, wider network or the internet. This extends coverage for Wi-Fi enabled devices, sensors and cameras into challenging environments such as back country, urban or underground areas of operation

We are proud to be able to ship 140 of our class leading PTT IP Mesh hand-held MANET radios to the Ukrainian Military forces, via Poland. We got the call for any radios that might be available immediately, off the shelf, no delays.

From Death Valley in Arizona to the deepest catacombs under Paris , our Hypha/PTT Mesh radios have excelled in a multitude of challenging environments

Sovereign Systems IP Mesh Radio Update

As you know, we have been very successful with our development of the PTT IP Mesh hand-held Mesh radio, the world’s smallest, truly hand-held radio using COFDM Mesh technology.

How do Mesh Radios / Nodes work?

Mesh Radios or Nodes have a transceiver, meaning it acts as both a transmitter and receiver. This allows the Radio/Node to operate as a bi-directional radio carrying any IP traffic, including video, audio and data across a network of radios in a “mesh”.

Mesh Technology

We have build up a portfolio of products that complements our MESH technology. These different technologies can be integrated with MESH to offer bespoke solutions to government agencies, responsible for defence and homeland security. The solutions can also be adapted for the private sector, for example broadcasters, oil and gas sector etc.
