The solutions we were demonstrating on our stand:

• Infrastructure-free ad-hoc, pop-up, encrypted, long range networks, using our PTT Mesh technology to enable voice and data comms for First Responders without the need for any radio repeaters, cellular towers, masts etc., with the added benefit of a high-capacity broadband network for video transmission when necessary.
• Indoor Tracking, over three axis…the world’s first commercially viable 3-axis indoor tracking system allowing Incident/Fire Ground Commanders to accurately locate their personnel in the absence of GPS, including identifying which floor they are on, in multi-level structures.
• The world’s most advanced and complete body-worn sensor system, allowing bi-directional transmission of sensor data, from toxic gas detection to biometric sensor data to “man down” alerts and acknowledgement, all from a centralised platform.

The PTT Mesh mobile IP network is the enabler for all of these cutting-edge technologies to communicate in the absence of a cellular network, which is a condition encountered all too often in these days of increasing natural disasters and public safety incidents.
