NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation
signs up for

Thesia Indoor Tracking System

We are pleased to announce the signing of a contract with NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation in Tokyo. This is for the exclusive distribution agreements of our human indoor tracking solution "Thesia" in Japan.

After 3 days of internal and customer POC, the future market for Thesia is very bright. Thesia is the most accurate indoor location system in a very niche but very important and developing market sector. The safety of rescue workers and workers in hazardous environments is of paramount importance.

The safety of firefighters, indoor workers, especially those working underground and in tunnels, is enhanced by accurate PLI (personal location information) displayed in 3D (X/Y/Z axis) in real time. It can also be used for reporting, investigation and analysis. Events that occur during tracking can be attached to the track with their exact location and time with high accuracy within 1m. Such events include the triggering of biometric sensors, the detection of toxic gases, or photos or notes taken specifically to record the events during tracking.

James Moloney, CEO of Sovereign Systems Group, commented, "We are truly honoured and excited to be partnering with a Japanese company. The Japanese market is not an easy one to enter, but with NESIC's forward-thinking approach to innovation, we are confident that this collaboration will be mutually beneficial for the future."
