We recently participated at trials in the UK with the Ministry of Defence, and Italy, with the Italian Special Forces.
Our SovSys IP Mesh radios provided connectivity for the C4i Systems mobile command centre, allowing rapid deployment and ease of set up.
Live video streams and integration of the system components was achieved with the AD HOC MANET pop-up network, without deploying any infrastructure or cable systems.
The integral Wi Fi access point on each SovSys Mesh radio allows WiFi cameras to connect to the Mesh network at LOS distances up to 90 metres from the radio.
Dave Marshall, Business Development Director at C4i Systems in Hereford said “We like the Sovereign Systems radios as they are so easy to set up and deploy, especially the small PTT Mesh radio, which doesn’t need a laptop or a tablet to configure and set up. All the setup is done on the radio’s own LCD display. Also, the RF performance is very impressive, with only 500mW of RF output power in these smaller radios We achieved excellent range and RF performance."
